Our team can conduct one-on-one or group briefings, held at your workplace or another convenient location, to cover unemployment information, retraining resources, job-search tools and available community support. All requests are handled confidentially.

We also coordinate targeted workshops – such as resume development, interviewing skills and effective job‑search strategies – based on employee needs.

For large-scale layoffs, we can design a customized job fair exclusively for impacted employees. No matter the size of the layoffs, we can keep staff informed about upcoming hiring events and job fairs to support their transition back to work.

Depending on funding and availability of employment opportunities, displaced workers may qualify for scholarships to help train or re-train them for jobs in targeted high-skill and high-wage occupations.

Our team can help displaced workers register with Employ Florida, the state’s premier online job board, to identify potential matches with interested businesses.

Displaced workers have access to fully equipped and staffed resource rooms at our career centers. In addition to a library of employment reference materials and online training modules, job seekers may use computers with high-speed internet, copiers and fax machines to conduct job searches. In addition, your employees may choose to work one-on-one with our career coaches. Other tools to help your staff include a wide range of assessments to determine their levels of capabilities and employability.
